SEOUL Michael Roberts Jersey , May 2 (Xinhua) -- South Korea's consumer prices rose 1.9 percent in April from a year earlier, hovering at a relatively high level on expensive crude oil, a government report showed on Tuesday.

Costly crude oil led the accelerated inflation. Oil product prices advanced 11.7 percent in April, raising the overall inflation by 0.48 percentage points. Prices for gasoline and diesel jumped 9.5 percent and 14.1 percent each.


Prices for agricultural, livestock and fishery prices added 4.5 percent in April, after gaining 5.8 percent in the prior month. Livestock product prices rose 8.7 percent, but vegetable prices declined 6 percent.


Services prices picked up 2.2 percent, lifting the overall inflation by 1.21 percentage points.

ZAGREB, March 16 (Xinhua) -- Croatian Hydrocarbon Agency (CHA) confirmed on Monday the exploration for oil and gas in Adriatic seabed would be postponed due to the need for consultations with neighboring countries.


The contracts, initially scheduled to be signed in April with five companies which have been awarded licences, were expected to be signed in June, CHA said.


Under the UN Espoo convention (EIA), Croatia should carry out a trans-border consultations with its neighboring countries Frank Ragnow Jersey , including Italy, Montenegro and Slovenia, to form the strategic ecologic feasibility study for starting exploration and exploitation activities in the Adriatic.


Neighboring countries should send their comments and suggestions on the feasibility study within a reasonable time, initially scheduled for late March.


Croatia issued an international tender for exploration and exploitation of gas and oil in the Adriatic seabed in April 2014 and received offers for 15 exploration areas, out of 29, ranging between 1 Marvin Jones Jr Jersey ,000 and 1,600 square kilometres each.
